1.  Ordering:
THE GLOBAL LINE
sells exclusively to promotional products distributors only. Customer Service helps with initial orders and answers any questions regarding account status. Distributors that send in a complete purchase order will receive an acknowledgement confirming the details of that order.

THE GLOBAL LINE requires prepayment on all new orders. Customer Service assigns an initial credit limit after receiving a completed credit application, and provides notice of credit availability with THE GLOBAL LINE once the commercial relation is established.

2.  Sending Artwork:
The quality of your imprint begins with your artwork. Remember, perfect artwork means we will not have to do any paste up or touch up, prepare any art or logos, set any type, put crop marks or center marks. If your artwork is complete and perfect, production time will start immediately. Please note that delivery will run longer if this does not happen. Your graphic designer or advertising agency can supply the artwork.



3. Art Transfer:
Click on the Art Transfer link in the top navigation of this website and follow the instructions. If you have technical problems with uploading art, email us at help@globaline.com for assistance. Please review the art requirements under the Art Transfer section prior to sending art. We do not recommend sending large files if you have limited bandwidth or have known connectivity issues.

Artwork/Logo Specifications:
- It should be Camera Ready Black & White line art with no half tones.
- Multi-color imprints need color separations for each color with registration marks and a color composite.
- NOT USABLE AS ART: faxes, copies of faxes or scanned images.
- Stock dies or National logos are not available.
Digital Artwork: also called electronic art has to be in PC format, and can be sent in a CD, 3.5" disk or via e-mail. Include your company's name and PO#. Electronic art will not be opened until order and copy of art are received. For the best results, create your art as vector art in Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw, save it as an EPS file (encapsulated postscript file); and convert your fonts to curves in CorelDraw and outlines in Adobe Illustrator.
- Applications supported include Adobe Illustrator (10.0), Photoshop (6.0) and Corel Draw (7.0). Do not send PDF files, JPEG or GIF files.
- Always send a hard copy of your artwork along with your purchase order by fax or mail.
- Include all files that have been placed, embedded, nested or imported into your art. All fonts (Mac fonts are not compatible) should be supplied.
Typesetting
- When typestyles are not specified, our typesetters will set your copy for the best effect.
- Specify size, style and case. top

For example:
XYZ Company ------------(Italic, Bold Upper/lower case)
123 Street Rd., Town, NY- (Regular, Upper/lower case)
(123) 123-1234 -----------(Bold, 8pt.)

Imprint should look like this:
XYZ Company

- Excess Copy: $2.00 per line, space permitting. We reserve the right to split up copies too long for available space into additional lines and charges accordingly. All (Z).



4.  Proofs Information:
We offer Proofs on Firm Orders Only
- On paper $12.00 each copy (I).
- On items, $25.00 per copy (I).
- Not available on custom specialties.

5.  Production Information:
All our products are stock items. When placing an order, please specify all necessary details, including style, quantity, colors, size. Make sure to clearly state the latest permissible ship date from our factory in New York.

Production time begins upon receipt of the complete order, proper credit approval or payment, receipt of artwork and/or proof approval.

If not specified, Standard Service will be used. Weekends and holidays are not considered working days.
Incomplete orders will be put on hold or returned. This will delay ship dates.

Changes:
will delay orders and must be authorized by GLOBAL LINE. On quantity, not permitted once order is in production. For other changes such as consignee, shipping carrier or method, etc., $20.00 charge per change. Production time begins upon receipt of the complete order or after proof approval.

Cancellation:
Orders in production cannot be cancelled.

Returns:
All claims must be made within 15 days of receipt of merchandise.
Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. All returns must have a "Return Authorization Number" (R.A.#) clearly marked on the outside of the box. No credit will be issued for merchandise which is unavailable for return to factory. Custom printed products, printed according to purchase order, will not be accepted for return.

Over Or Underruns:
up to 10% must be tolerated.

Copy Change:
$10.00. Less than minimum charges apply to any individual copies that are less than the smallest quantity listed. All copies must have a common bond. ALL (Z)


Less Than Minimum:
Where available, not less than one half of smallest quantity listed. Charge as noted for each item.

Die Charge: As noted for each item.

Repeat Orders:
No die charge on identical repeat orders if placed within 3 years and last order number is supplied.

6.  Production Time:

Standard Service:
There is a standard production time available for all catalog quantity orders and different rush services for most items; please check each product for details.
- Pens: 2-3 weeks.
- Games: 8 working days.
- Beach Items: 8 working days.
- Inflatables: 8 working days.
- Calendars: 3-4 weeks
- For orders above catalog quantities, contact factory for production time.

Rush Service:
purchase order must include camera ready artwork and copy of art on paper and has to be received by 10:30 am EST in order for purchase order to be shipped in specified time. Day order and artwork is received is not counted. Rush Service is available for one color/one location only. Orders cannot exceed published catalogue quantities as specified. GLOBAL LINE reserves the right to refuse Rush Service depending on product availability at time of order.
- Pens: 3 days.
- Games: 2 and 4 working days.
- Beach Items: 2 and 4 working days.
- Inflatables: 2 and 4 working days.
- Calendars: not available.


7.  Shipping Information:
Method of Shipping: Common carrier unless otherwise specified. Every effort will be made to ship on the required date and by the means specified. However, right is reserved to ship by whatever means available to deliver order by date shown on the purchase order. First consideration is given to speed and reliability, not cost. Please supply complete street address. GLOBAL LINE cannot assume responsibility for time delays in transit. Our responsibility ceases when merchandise is delivered to the carrier.

Shipping Point:
New York. F.O.B. Factory Shipping charges will be added to invoice.

C.O.D. Clerical Charge:
$10.00 per consignee. ALL (Z)

Split Shipment:
$10.00 per consignee. ALL (Z)

US Post Office Shipments: $3.00 (Z) handling charge per carton.

Special Packaging: $3.00 (Z) per carton.

Packing Slip:
If desired, must be included with Purchase Order to your individual
specifications.



8.  Terms and Conditions:

Factory Changes:
Prices, terms and conditions, items and colors are subject to change without notice.

Authorization And Indemnification:
By placing an order with THE GLOBAL LINE , you represent and warrant that you have the authority to order, purchase and distribute merchandise containing the names, trademarks, logos, copyrights, etc. identified in your order. You also agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless THE GLOBAL LINE and representatives, from and against all claims, liabilities and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising out of or related to and actual or alleged infringement or misappropriation of any trademark, copyright or any other proprietary right of such merchandise. This provision will remain in effect after delivery of your order.

Logos and other imprints shown in this catalogue are for illustrative purposes only. They do not imply endorsement, nor are any items with these specific logos for sale to anyone other than parties expressly authorized by the owner of such designs. Product colors shown throughout this catalog may vary slightly from actual products due to inherent limitations in photography, film separations, offset printing and plastic molding processes.

10.  Product Glossary:

Assortment Quantities:
You can combine minimum quantities of a product and use the lower price for the total quantity. Example: 1000 translucent beach balls; 500 red pieces and 500 blue pieces. You can assort colors on a product or calendar pictures as long as each selection equals the minimum quantity requirement. Check each product for details.

Camera ready Artwork:
The artwork is complete and perfect to start production immediately. We will not have to do anything: any paste up or touch up, prepare any art or logos, set any type, put crop marks or center marks.

Color Change (Imprint):
Please Inquire.

Imprint Area:
The area on a product, with specific dimensions, in which the imprint is placed.

Imprint Color:
The color used to print your logo and/or copy. Some products allow you to use multiple colors.

Production Time:
From receipt of complete order or proof approval, the amount of time to produce and ship your order.
